So Tyler can't believe that I have only had 3-4 different types of pie (as in desert) in my life. Technically tonight I added my fifth type of pie, peach. Apparently there are all types of pie for example...
the classics: apple, peach, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, triple berry, cherry pecan, pumpkin, lemon meringue, key lime, chocolate etc...
the more rare: grape, raisin, rhubarb, elderberry, huckleberry, sweet potato pie, etc...
Ice cream pies: Tyler says they don't count because they are not baked so do not include these.
Please take my poll (to the left) and let me know how many different types of pie you have had. Hopefully I can tell Tyler I am not alone.

Salsa please...hold the chips!
Just got back from a very fun night of salsa dancing with friends. Tyler and I had a blast! He is finally motivated to learn some partner dancing so next time you see us we might just be cutting a rug. The best part of the evening happened after midnight, the club turned into a seventies night club:) Super fun! So if anyone comes to visit remind me to take you to the buff club on a Saturday night for Salsa and Seventies!
Night Night it is 2 am:)

Again with India
Here is the link to the hospital/shelter I would be working at if anyone is interested. Some of the stories are great. I guess I can always go there after I become a vet...but I live on this side of the world already so....hmmmmm

To India or not to India
So one of my friends asked me if I would like to go to India with her to do veterinary work for spring break. It is a basically a giant free spay and neuter clinic that veterinary students can participate in for clinical experience (we of course pay our way out there). I have participated in one in the US as many of you know...in North Dakota...yes, that is what I was doing there. No, I wasn't hanging out in Fargo.
Anyway, I am thinking of going. I mean how often do you see India, and I get to give back to the world.
The only problem is that Equine work (my future specialty) is very big during the spring and I was hoping to visit a hospital or two and gain more experience. This of course can always be done in summer....just not as many problems to encounter (spring is birthing season, lots of problems can occur).
On the other hand India has surgery (my other love) and I hear you get to see and DO A LOT of it:)
So....what do you think?....give me feedback
(Mom- we would have to discuss how I would get to India. Did I mention I love you, alot:)

A new start
So far so good. Classes started Monday with a lesson in herd management and diarrhea. Fascinating. Actually it was, but I think you have to be into that sort of thing to appreciate it. Tomorrow has in store more diarrhea with a dose of anesthesia management on Thursday:)
Last week Tyler and I sent summer out with a bang and traveled (some of) the highlands of Scotland. Very fun and informative. W
More later....Janet
